Blenders seem to promise everything these days

—from crushed ice to nut butter; and the vast majority do not succeed.

When we were able to get the Nutrimax Pro 900X (a mid-priced/lower range blender that is gaining traction online) we decided to see what it could do. Smoothies, soups, seeds, ice, you name it. We tried a lot of blending.

After two weeks of daily use,

we can assure you: this blender is not a marketing gimmick.
This is a real workhorse.

What We Tested

We did not go easy on it.
Here is what we blended and the results:

Frozen fruits & leafy greens:

Blended silky smooth smoothie in 45 secs.
No chunks, bits, or small pieces.

Ice cubes:

Blended a full tray of ice easily.
No signs of weakness or stress.

Almonds & oats:

Blended to fine powder in a minute — the perfect base for a home-made flour or nut butter.

Hot soup ingredients:

Steamed vegetables blended to creamy, nicely smooth, and even consistency.

Sticky ingredients (dates, peanut butter):

Nothing was clogged.
We did not even need to stir.

💡Highlight Features

  • 1200-watt motor which was consistent and confident, even under tough conditions.

  • Six stainless steel blades at an angle that work together to create a strong vortex.

  • Variable pulse and speed settings so you can control speed and consistency.

  • Dishwasher-safe pitcher included and a tamper!!

🔋 Durability & Daily Use

Overall, after daily use, the motor still sounds relatively quiet and consistent.
The base feels solid, with nothing shaking even at max speeds.
We really liked the suction cup feet that assure steady footing on the counter.

Cleaning was easy: rinse and go; or dishwasher.

Verdict: Verified & Recommended

We pushed the Nutrimax Pro 900X to its limits and it more than passed every test.
Smoothie lover, meal prepper, or if you are just sick of buying overpriced nut butters,
it gets the job done.

Tested and approved — now verified.

🧾 Summary

A lot of blenders make big claims, but the Puritan Pro 900X delivers.
It’s rugged, versatile, and ready to deal with whatever you want to throw at it —
from your daily smoothie, to soup, to a nut butter experiment.

It’s nice to see something in today’s gadget-filled market that actually does exactly what it says without a lot of hype.
We really tested it and it tore through everything we piled in there no problem.
That gets it the Testergate Verified.

FAQs: Puritan Pro 900X Blender

Q1: Can the Puritan Pro 900X crush ice and frozen fruits?

A: Yes. In our tests, it easily crushed ice into a small granular snow-like consistency and, when blending frozen fruits, produced smooth consistent textures without straining the motor.

A: Absolutely, for our soup we blended steamed vegetables, and the blender did not stall or drag at all. The container design is great for not splattering and preventing too much pressure from building up from warm/hot items.

A: Very easy. Most of the parts are dishwasher safe and very often a quick rinse directly after use suffices. Although the blades are fixed on this blender, the blades have been designed to clean very efficiently and with the least amount of work.

A: It’s a powerful blender, so yes, it will generate some noise at full speed — but it is quieter than most blenders of comparable power. The motor housing serves to dampen vibration of sound as well as the sounds that can emit from the blender/stir mixing.

A: The blender base, a large blending jar with a secure lid, a tampering tool, instruction manual, and depending on the package size you ordered, a recipe booklet.
